RUN THE RIVER & STAY FOR THE CELEBRATION
Register now for the 4th Annual RE STRONG Run benefiting VCU Massey Cancer Center on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at historic Hewick Plantation! This event celebrates the life of Ruth Ellen Hurley and all who have bravely battled cancer. Join us for this community festival in Urbanna, one of Virginia’s most charming Chesapeake Bay towns.
The 5k and 10k races run along Urbanna’s beautiful Rappahannock River waterfront and through the quaint harbor town. Kids can experience the Fun Run around Hewick Plantation with special treats, just like the big runners and a race arch finish! All registered participants are invited to run or walk the courses!
Fun Run – 7:30 a.m.
5k and 10k – 8:30 a.m.
First 500 registered participants are guaranteed a race shirt and medal.
Celebrate with live music, food, drinks, family activities and much more!
Complimentary child care will be provided on-site to registered participants during the 5k and 10k.
